# Content AI Visibility

{% hint style="info" %}
This area is actively evolving, so the exact metrics and workflow may change. It's available on select plans.
{% endhint %}

The **Content AI visibility** tab looks at AI visibility at the **page and product level**: which of your pages and products show up in AI answers, and where improving one could help it get cited.

The other tabs answer "how is my *brand* doing?" This one answers "how is *this product* doing, and what do I do about it?"

## Summary cards

Across the top:

| Card | What it tells you |
| ---------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Products / Documents visible in AI answers** | How many of your products (or pages) at least one AI engine has cited, out of the total. |
| **Pages optimized** | How many of your pages you've already worked through, out of the total. |
| **Potential reach** | How many prompts your content could appear in, and their combined search volume. |

## Page level content improvements

Below the cards, every product and page you have, with how each one is doing in AI answers.

A **Products / Documents** toggle switches between your product pages and your other content (help pages, guides, blog posts), and there's a search box. Products also get a **Category** rail down the left side, so you can work through one part of your catalog at a time, with a **Top competitors** list underneath showing the brands that come up most across your whole catalog.

Each row shows:

| Column               | Meaning                                                                               |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Product** | The product's image, title and description, as AI engines see them. |
| **Win rate** | How often this product is the first product recommended in the answers it appears in. |
| **Position** | Its average place in the list of recommended products. Lower is better. |
| **Competing brands** | The brands recommended alongside it, as logos, with a count of any others. |

A dash in all three columns means the product hasn't turned up in a tracked AI answer yet. Switch on **Hide products not in AI answers** to drop those rows and focus on what's already surfacing.

## Opening a product

A product opens on two tabs:

* [**Overview**](/docs/features/ai-visibility/content-ai-visibility/product-overview.md) — how this product is performing in AI answers: its visibility trend, where it ranks against the rival products cited alongside it, which brands compete with it, and which searches it turns up in.
* [**Recommendations**](/docs/features/ai-visibility/content-ai-visibility/content-recommendations.md) — the work: unanswered questions to turn into FAQs, new content to write, and off-site places worth getting mentioned.
  * [**Publishing FAQs to Shopify**](/docs/features/ai-visibility/content-ai-visibility/content-recommendations/publish-faqs-to-shopify.md) — send the generated FAQs straight to your Shopify product pages.

Pages and documents (rather than products) have no Overview tab — they open straight into the recommendations layout.
